Evaluation of the "Evaluators"

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) administered a survey to faculty, administrators & staff, and students to get a sense of what OIE resources and reports are being used and what information is important. OIE resources and documents span four areas: accreditation, assessment, OIE publications, and strategic planning . Overall, feedback was positive but few resources are being utilized.

Middle States documents are most frequently used and deemed as most important. On the other hand, research reports, assessment guides, and the strategic plan scorecards were less likely to be accessed. Assessment resources are generally deemed as least important. Respondents indicated that the Fact Book was most helpful.

With the results of the survey, OIE has started to determine what additional information it should provide and mode of delivery. In Spring 2014, OIE will begin to redesign and reorganize its web content.
